Space and Missile Defense Symposium 2025

Celedon at SMD 2025

Earlier this month we had the opportunity to participate in the Space and Missile Defense (SMD) Symposium; one of the premier gatherings for defense, aerospace, and technology innovators. We were able to live demo Davinci to tons of both returning and new attendees, creating relationships, and learning about all the new changes that are going to be coming to missile defense!

Engaging with the Community

The SMD Symposium brings together a uniquely cross-disciplinary audience: from Army program managers and DoD acquisition leaders, to NASA engineers and commercial solution providers. For Celedon, this provided an invaluable opportunity to:

  • Share how Davinci’s evolving multi-agent ecosystem can accelerate defense R&D and program execution.
  • Demonstrate our latest toolbox integrations, showing how agents can reach beyond the lab to interact with external systems, databases, and mission-specific toolchains.
  • Gather feedback on how our technology aligns with real-world needs across missile defense, space operations, and digital engineering.

Takeaways from the Symposium

A few themes resonated throughout the week:

  • Digital transformation is accelerating. Nearly every session highlighted the need for integrated digital tools—exactly where Davinci is positioned.
  • AI adoption is moving from exploration to deployment. Leaders are asking less about “if” and more about “how” AI can be applied responsibly to critical missions.
  • Collaboration across agencies and industry is vital. Multi-domain operations demand solutions that aren’t locked in silos, but can adapt and interoperate.

These align closely with our mission at Celedon: building AI-driven platforms that bridge gaps between models, data, and decisions.

Looking Ahead

Much like the multi-agent workspaces we introduced earlier this year, events like SMD are reminders that the future will not be built in isolation. It will take diverse teams, interoperable tools, and intentional integration across domains.

This point was further reinforced at the Golden Dome Industry Day, where leaders emphasized the urgent need for the defense industrial base to move with greater agility, speed, and cost-effectiveness. The challenges ahead demand innovation not only in technology but in how quickly and affordably that technology can be deployed.

We left SMD energized by the conversations and partnerships sparked throughout the week. The work continues, and we are excited to keep serving our customers—empowering both civilians and warfighters with the tools they need to build the future.
